Agnese Fumanti

Agnese Fumanti is a research fellow and recently completed her PhD. Her research focuses on the composition, diversity, and functional roles of microbiomes associated with marine organisms, using advanced molecular approaches such as metabarcoding and metagenomics to study host–microbe interactions. She also participated in the 40th Antarctic Expedition and is a certified scuba diver, supporting her fieldwork activities.
