Work With Us

Work with us

MarBioLab welcomes motivated students and researchers interested in marine biodiversity, ecology, ecosystem functioning, conservation, and restoration.

Master’s students

Master’s students can join MarBioLab for thesis projects developed either within ongoing national and international research programs or through curiosity-driven research addressing emerging questions of particular scientific interest to the group. Thesis opportunities may include laboratory and field activities and, when associated with specific projects, participation in oceanographic expeditions and sampling campaigns.

PhD students

PhD research opportunities are available within the Marine Biology and Ecology curriculum of the PhD Program in Life and Environmental Sciences at Università Politecnica delle Marche. PhD projects address fundamental and applied questions in marine ecology using multidisciplinary and innovative approaches.

Postdoctoral researchers and research fellows

Research positions may become available within national and international projects coordinated by or involving MarBioLab. Specific opportunities are advertised according to project funding and timelines. Researchers interested in developing joint fellowship applications or research proposals with MarBioLab are also encouraged to contact us.

Visiting students and researchers

We welcome expressions of interest from students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and established scientists wishing to spend a research period at MarBioLab through international mobility programs, fellowships, or scientific collaborations.

Interested in joining us?

Students and researchers interested in joining MarBioLab are invited to submit an Expression of Interest through the Contact Us section.

Please provide a brief description of your research interests and motivation, indicate the type and expected period of activity. Applications will be evaluated according to the scientific fit with MarBioLab research activities, available supervision, facilities, and funding opportunities.
