The program provides advanced academic training in marine biology, biodiversity, and marine ecosystem functioning. The curriculum covers key topics such as marine flora and fauna, ecological assessment and monitoring techniques, conservation strategies, and applied methodologies for sustainable marine resource management. Delivered through a virtual campus, the Master combines structured coursework with a final research project, enabling students to develop analytical, technical, and research skills aligned with current challenges in marine science.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent first-cycle university qualification) in marine biology, biology, environmental sciences, or related scientific disciplines. Degrees obtained abroad are subject to academic evaluation. Candidates from other academic backgrounds may be considered based on professional experience and curriculum assessment.
