PhD Programme
The PhD programme in Marine Biology and Ecology provides advanced interdisciplinary training in the study of marine ecosystems. It prepares researchers to conduct innovative basic and applied research, combining ecological and biological approaches with advanced methodologies, fieldwork, and emerging technologies. Particular emphasis is placed on marine biodiversity from microbes to macro-organisms, conservation, and the development of science-based solutions to major environmental challenges. The PhD program in Marine Biology and Ecology is structured over three years. Further information on the program, admission requirements, and training activities is available on the Università Politecnica delle Marche website.
