Cinzia Corinaldesi

Cinzia Corinaldesi is a marine ecologist and Professor of Marine Biology and Applied Marine Ecology at UNIVPM and within the International Master IMBRSea. Her research focuses on the role of microbes in ocean functioning and on the responses of marine ecosystems to anthropogenic impacts. In 2000, she launched the first studies on the impact of sunscreen products on marine life, contributing to the development of international regulations such as the Hawaii Reef Bill.
